Theresa May Assumes Position As Britain’s New Prime Minister



Theresa May was today, officially sworn in as Britain’s new Prime Minister making her the second woman in the history of the country to hold the position. (The first being Margaret Thatcher)
Theresa, who takes over from David Cameron was sworn in following an audience with Queen Elizabeth II earlier in the day at Buckingham Palace.
Addressing the press in front of 10 Downing Street while her husband, Philip looked on, the new PM promised to tow in the footsteps of Cameron in making Britain a country that works for all.
She has already announced the most senior appointments to her cabinet and is expected to announce the rest in the coming days.
